The core of the Center's offerings is a one-month virtual curriculum. Our program, led by renowned international ceramics experts, offers a structured curriculum focused on building techniques, surface design, and insights into the art business. You'll develop your creative routines while collaborating with teachers and peers in live, interactive sessions.

We've curated our classes to streamline the learning experience, and our cohorts include passionate individuals from around the world, providing diverse perspectives. Our collaborative community will enhance your learning journey and inspire you to push the boundaries of your artistic practice.

2025 WINTER INTENSIVE: A 4-week Live Virtual Course

This 4-week immersion is designed to transform and connect you to a diverse community of ceramic sculptors. Designed for all levels, the program offers the flexibility of a virtual format while providing the accountability, activation, and camaraderie of live, collaborative group work.

There will be two tiers of accreditation. Building upon last year’s offerings, students who have completed the level I course will be provided additional work requirements and support in obtaining their level II certification.

With 7 esteemed leaders in the arts, you will embark on a guided exploration of various building techniques and surface finishes, and gain valuable insights into the business of figurative ceramic art.

Upon completing the program you will receive a Center For the Study Of Figurative Ceramics Certification. You can learn more about this here.

Winter 2025 Instructors and Collaborators:

What People Are Saying

HOW WILL THIS WORK?

Throughout this month-long journey, you will engage in live sessions twice a week, led by founder and instructor Cristina Córdova, in collaboration with our international instructors. You will immerse yourself in demonstrations, lectures, and constructive group critiques. These interactive gatherings will be complemented by pre-recorded materials and written resources, providing flexibility for you to tailor the experience to your own rhythm. The only requirements are an internet connection, a computer, phone, or tablet, and a Zoom account. Once enrolled you will receive instructions for a full tech check to ensure everything is set up for an optimal experience.

To further support your creative journey, you will receive both group and individual coaching from a licensed creative coach, accompanied by ongoing feedback and mentorship as you continue to develop your final project independently. Together, we will culminate our shared experience with a virtual group exhibition, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your work and celebrate our collective artistic evolution.

All sessions will be recorded and will be available for one year, ensuring that you can revisit the content at your convenience and keep it as a lasting resource for continued inspiration and growth. Join us as we harness the power of technology to foster creativity, community, and artistic expression.
